No, wouldn't be prepared to face another ecu fault costing me a potential of £2500 out of warranty.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I found the car on the internet 18 months old with 6000 miles on the clock when 3 door Astras with similar age, spec, mileage were still fetching £10k.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted a car that was big enough for family and friends that was a little sporty.

What was the dealer like?

Very good service, they could not have been more helpful.

What's it like to drive?

Really nice to drive and live with couldn't fault it.

What's it like to park?

Easy

Have you had any problems with the car?

Ecu went and it took out the traction control unit and the ABS. Luckily for me the car was still under warranty. The parts would have cost me £1800 alone.

What's most practical about your car?

5 door.
