Did you get a good deal and why?

No special deal, already had £1000 off the original price although still in line with most other dealers.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Have owned several Vauxhalls over the years with no problems. Liked the style and drive of the new Astra.

What was the dealer like?

Have used before, which is why we purchased from the same dealer again. Very helpful, and happy to rectify a couple of minor problems on the vehicle.

What's it like to drive?

Awesome, I don't think I will ever buy a petrol engined car again. The torque is unbelievable, which is ideal for motorway driving and overtaking when needed. Sharp brakes and very positive handling. The ride is hard, but not uncomfortable.

What's it like to park?

Parking is okay, but the turning circle is poor compared to previous Vauxhalls I have owned.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Stereo would not function correctly. Replaced by Vauxhall dealer we purchased from with no quibble.

What's most practical about your car?

May sound trivial, but the seat belt warning senssor. Now nobody gets in the car without wearing it, as the alarm is very annoying. Also the running costs are cheap.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Sport mode - does exactly as it is supposed to. And a 6th gear, still getting used to it.
