Summary
What does this car say about you?
Says I liked to look of the car but never really tested it in the right situations - should have driven it hard and in a mixed environment before i purchased! Lesson learn't.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would not buy this car with the current set up. I think they look OK are comfortable inside but the Engine management on the Automatic model is rubbish as is the computer inside, it has no options other than trip details and speed - on a modern car you expect a lot more!
What are you likely to buy next?
VW Golf if auto or Alfa if I go back to Manual.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£13,000
When did you buy the car?
May 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Deal was OK got a slight discount but not a lot.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Very matter of fact, did not try to pressure me, did not negotiate told me their bottom line and let me walk away - was a rare model so had upper hand.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Sluggish and gutless to be honest, it does not accelerate well, the engine management system is very poor as an automatic and gear changing in jumpy, it cannot manage going down steep hills and does not change gear - to the degree where I have to flick it into manual and change up - awful!
What's it like to park?
OK as I have parking sensors, without them it might be tricky as rear window is small.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing has been faulty in the meaning of the word but it does have issues.
What's most practical about your car?
Good legroom in the back for a hatchback.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Parking sensors are a must as rear visability is OK but not ideal.
