Vauxhall Astra Hatchback (2015 - 2021) 1.4T 16V SRi Nav 5d Owner Review

Have had my Astra SRi Nav 1.4T 150bhp for a couple of weeks now and love it more each day. What a step up this model K of the Astra is! Build quality on a par with our also new Volkswagen but so much better to drive and better handling. The infotainment system is absolutely unprecendented in this class of car. Seat are comfortable, the engine is all but silent, steering is great. Sport mode stiffens up the steering and increases throttle response - a completely different driving experience and a lot of fun! This car far exceeded my expectations in every area, except perhaps one - as is common these days, MPG is nowhere near the fantasy figures quoted by manufacturers; Vauxhall claim 54mpg average for this model and engine, however, even with careful driving, I get 37-38mpg. It is worth it though, this car and this engine are really fantastic.
