Vauxhall Astra Hatchback (2015 - 2021) Tech Line Nav 1.6CDTi (110PS) Ecotec 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Feel really let down by Vauxhall and the Astra in my view is quite a poor car. Numerous issues with ECU error faults and engine management light coming on often. Related to to steering sensors, no comms with bus in ECU, ABS error code and issue with wiring especially with rear passenger light heating up to high temperatures and burns on touch.
Driving experience is mediocre at best and on the motorway or A roads the road noise is quite loud. The dashboard and interior feels cheaply made with lots of plastic. MPG is no where near advertised level and more like 45 MPG.
Technology is poor the NAVI 600 is very basic and the menus tend to not work properly. Radio on but the whole interface is dated and poor.
On numerous times that I had to call the AA out, the engineers always said how the engine parts used by Vauxhall were of poor quality and cheap, and I can see why now after all the issues I've had.
Would never recommend Vauxhall again to anyone whether it be for personal use or business use. The brand has gone down hill in my estimation with reliability, quality and over all appeal.
Awful experience and awful car!
