Vauxhall Astra Saloon 1.6 GLS 4d (1992/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Costs
Not proved expensive though I have replaced many parts.
-
On the road
Driving
Spoiled by dithery straight line steering but good round bends.
Performance
Quick enough and good on petrol, bit noisy on acceleration.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Never been left stranded - but I do plan ahead.
Image
Still quite good in spite of age; must get an Irish number plate next time!
Comfort
Seats are better than new Astra.

Security
Hasn't been pinched yet. Would do me a favour now that prices have crashed.
Service
Small faults and niggles beat them completely despite diagnostic tuner!
