Buying experience

Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£7,999
When did you buy the car?
December 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes I think so. Virtually brand new car with low mileage. It's completely pristine, looks like it just rolled off the factory floor.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I actually bought the 2009 plate, but this is not listed on here for some reason! Bought it because it's a nice looking car, fun to drive and easy and relatively cheap to run.
What was the dealer like?
Really good. Very helpful and friendly, offered us a good part exchange on our old car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Really fun! We got the one with the sport pack, so it has stiffened suspension, which dosen't feel all that great on bumpy roads, but for a 1.6, it's got a bit of poke and handles really well.
What's it like to park?
Not bad, Visibility in the rear is poor, but it's not a long car and the wing mirrors can be used to assist. Used to driving a much bigger/longer car, so haven't struggled at all.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not really, although have struggled to get the boot open, though this is more than liekly to be due to the incelement weather!
What's most practical about your car?
It has good fuel efficiency and is overall a lot cheaper to run than the old car, though as far as space goes, I wouldn't say it was practical if you had children or a large dog!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Stereo system isn't bad for a standard fit.
