Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely! Fantastic buy, I have owned 6 cars and this is by far the best. The sheer enjoyment of driving it is second to none.

Nurburgring VXR Astra!

Did you get a good deal and why?

Ended up with a great deal because of complications with the insurance meant after I had bought it I couldnt insure it (being 20) because of a fault the dealer had caused registering the car as an estate not a hatchback so they gave me £1000 back towards my insurance, which in the end didnt cost anymore than I was expecting. Also car was ex-demo so had lots of extras. XP kit and 18'' wheels were also included.

What was the dealer like?

Brilliant, the salesman was brilliant and we had problems after I had bought it but the sales manager was fantastic at sorting everything out, even gave me £1000 back.

What's it like to drive?

Fantastic! The 1.6t is the second quickest petrol engine they do in an astra and it has more than enough to see off most of the cars on the road today. Great power, great handling, great suspension. And the sport mode makes everthing sportier and (i think) better again!

What's it like to park?

Hard, back window is marking my 18'' wheels when parking against a curb.

Have you had any problems with the car?

3rd gear stopped enguaging, new gearbox fitted.

What's most practical about your car?

Brilliant all rounder.
