That there is still life in the old geezer!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think it is great and many have expressed the wish to get a convertible themselves, in fact my sister has since bought a Tigra.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Possibly, but I,ve only had it for a year.

Don't know, probably another convertible in the same price range.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Excellent deal, almost unbelievable! The Franchisee was having a sale.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Excellent price and I have always wanted a convertible. Compares very favourably against comparable Renault and Peugeot convertibles.

What was the dealer like?

Brilliant, I recommend them to anyone. Could not do enough for me.

What's it like to drive?

This car is not rapid on the acceleration front, but cruises nicely along motorways. Overtakes well in 5th gear. Have had it at 115mph with more to come. Easy around town, picking up quite well in low speeds and third gear.

What's it like to park?

Difficult to park due to restricted rear visibility, so I had rear parking sensors fitted. Now it is easy.

Have you had any problems with the car?

I have recently (one year after purchase) had trouble with the roof. It got stuck in a semi-open position. I was able to get it closed. Also on another occasion, the roof wouldn't open and locked the boot lid at the same time! Faults remedied under guarantee. No trouble since, but my confidence in the roof mechanism is 'dented'.

What's most practical about your car?

With the roof in the boot, there is the motorised facility to raise the roof about 25cms to allow cases to be slid in or out.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Cruise control (installed by manufacturer) and the windbreak.
