What does this car say about you?

I dont think it says anything about me personally as i'm not maybe young enough to be called a boy racer anymore, however thats what most people have called me. lol.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They love it. I have let them all drive it and each one has got out with the same grin on their face! I like that, especially when i get to take it home.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would, although i feel by the time i will want to change this that Vauxhall will have the new Astra VXR out by then and i will get that one instead.

What are you likely to buy next?

To be honest i havent thought that far ahead but i can definately see me staying with the VXR. What else can i buty for that money that delivers the kind of thrills that this car gives.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got a great deal. The list was £20500 after metallic paint and upgrade to 19" wheels. The dealer gave me £2000 discount straight away and i got a further £2000 discount with the partners scheme. 4 grand off! how could i not buy it??

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Just really liked the look and all the reviews i read said it was a beast to drive. Also i got a good discount from the dealer.

What was the dealer like?

Not bad. Young guy and to be honest he couldnt do enough for me. I was ver pleased. The car had to go back for a squeaking sound but the dealer sorted it straight away. Was actually the back seat.

What's it like to drive?

A treat. I find myself looking for reasons to go out in it. I love the looks i get when i drive it. It is capable and comfortable at low speeds and for cruising on Motorways but as soon as you plant your right foot it gets crazy. So much power from a 2 litre. Press the sport button and this gets even better with throttle response instant and the roar it makes puts a smile on my face every time. It never gets old. Its the quickest car i have owned and the most enjoyable to drive in any conditions. I have only had it 6 weeks so far but i can see me keeping it for 6 years.

What's it like to park?

No problem to me. I can understand why some might have a little difficulty but to be honest i can park it pretty much anywhere.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing yet. Squeaking sound just turned out to be the back seat not in place correctly.

What's most practical about your car?

I didnt really buy it for practicality but it does have a decent sized boot. I have 2 young daughters and there is ample room for both in the back seat although i would imagine it could get a bit tight for adults.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Love the 19" wheels, Arden blue paint and also the push button keyless start. Also got cruise control fitted a few weeks after buying it. This helps with the MPG. The piano black interior is very classy.
