Engine
Solid. I kane it and it laps it up, only the cam shaft sensor that goes without warning. If the car is maintained reguarly with good oil it will pay you back in reliability.
Other
If you think you can't afford a sportscar, then look at the Calibra - a very fast car for next to no £££, cheap parts and lost of options, I wouldn't go for anything other than a 16v and above.
