Vauxhall Calibra 2.0i 16V 3d (2002/51) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
£2,200 for high milage, but well looked after. Worth waiting for a clean.
Costs
MPG better than expected. Will drink petrol if heavy footed, though.

On the road
Driving
A pleasure to drive…
Performance
Not sure if it's down to my good diving or the car, but it keeps surprising me… and a few boy racers.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Touching 130,000 miles and still chewing up the tarmac! Regular maintenance checks a must though.
Image
It came, it went, BUT NOW IT'S BACK.
Comfort
Why pay more for less? Leather heated seats, air con, electric mirrors. The windows even close when you lock the door. You still have to change gear and steer though.
-
Security and Service
Security
Easily broken into. A good immobiliser and advance warning alarm essential.
Service
Got you by the balls if the front downpipe goes. No-one else makes it £190 from Vauxhall. Come on boys you can get full systems from £150 now a days…
