Vauxhall Calibra 2.0i 16V 3d (1996/N) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
It's a lot of car for the money! Not a Ferrari, of course, but I bought mine for £3000.
Costs
Servicing and fuel economy are ok, but Vauxhall parts are expensive, for a car based on the Vectra.

On the road
Driving
I think it holds the road well. It does 110mph easily on country roads and corners well. What else do you need?
Performance
hm... It's good, because other people drive sensibly, but I wish I bought the V6.

Living with it
Reliability
God. Is it just me, or all vauxhalls are like my Corsa, Vectra, Calibra? Exhaust, sunroof, water pump (which nearly killed the engine), tyre wear... all expensive.
Image
I think it still looks bloody good! That's why I bought it.
Comfort
I like it. There's enough space even in the back. The boot is big.

Security and Service
Security
I don't know yet. Nobody tried to nick it, but people say its easy to brake in, but hard to drive away.
Service
Well, they fixed everything, but expensive.
