Vauxhall Calibra 2.0i SE 3d (1993/L) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
A lot of car for the money. People thought mine was worth a lot more.
Costs
Most mechanical parts are from the Cavalier so easy to obtain. Easy to fit.
-
On the road
Driving
Solid, heavy clutch, great driving position.
Performance
I had the 8v as the insurance was a lot cheaper than 16v. Slightly sluggish though, not the nippyest machine on the road. Lovely on the motorway though. Very quiet.

Living with it
Reliability
In my 4 years, never a major problem - just the alternator. Front tyres wear quicker than most.
Image
I loved it - a right poser's car.
Comfort
Seats are extremly comfy, suspension hard but seats compensate. Back seats very ergonomic and comfy.
