Vauxhall Carlton Estate 2.0i GL Cat 5d (1993/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
A lot of car for NOT a lot of money now!
Costs
Most parts easily obtained and fairly cheap. Some body trim parts pricey, though.
-
On the road
Driving
solid feel to the car and built like a battleship. Poor visibility when parking rearwards.
Performance
2 litre engine is quite lively. Precise handling. Power steering is just right for the car, not too light.

Living with it
Reliability
Very reliable. Has yet to let me down seriously.
Image
Still looks modern to most people, no problems!
Comfort
Excellent roomy car. Seats good, but ride sometimes a little hard.
-
Security and Service
Security
No alarm fitted. No problems, though, with any would be intruders!
Service
Spares via Luton dealer. Happy with parts supplied.
