Vauxhall Cavalier Hatchback 1.6i Envoy Cat 5d (1993/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
bought car for £200 quid 2 years ago MOTd, Taxed and serviced it and that's all. BARGAIN!
Costs
Parts are very cheap, and most work is very simple for the DIYer. Very good on fuel too.

On the road
Driving
Not the best handler but very comfortable, what do you expect from a car of this size though.
Performance
The 1.6i isn't as nippy as the carb 1.6 that was in the older cavaliers, but has adequate power, and is really good on fuel.

Living with it
Reliability
This car has never let me down, starts up first time every morning.
Comfort
Very comfortable drive on motorway and around town, the driving position is particularly good.
-
Security and Service
Security
Even though it has 3 attempted break-ins, through the peel back doors, no one has actually entered the vehicle due to the quality dead locks, messy job fixing the doors though.
