Vauxhall Cavalier Hatchback 1.8i LS Cat 5d (1994/M) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Good mileage, good bodywork, and these things last for well close to 200,000 miles.
Costs
Good economy due to the fact I tend to over-rev mine, out econs most other 1.8is.

On the road
Driving
Good heavy ride, can wrap it round a corner and not have to worry that it's a big car.
Performance
Good pace for huge car. Feels solid all the way past 100mph. 120 feels like 60.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Can run it into the ground and it will laugh, plus parts are cheap and most work can be done DIY.
Image
As standard, looks like businessman car. I have bodykit and spoiler on mine, gorgeous standard metalic purple tho, very rare colour.
Comfort
Good standard seats, loads of room and I'm 6ft2, everything in easy reach.

Security and Service
Security
Super strong lock. Could have done with alarm, so I put a Clifford in.
Service
Have a Vauxhall breaker not far away, so good parts avaliable + cheap.
