Vauxhall Cavalier Hatchback 1.8i LS Cat 5d (1993/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Wasn't cheap when I got it but they are now and I now why.
Costs
Reasonable costs for a car of this size, but then it is only a Vauxhall.
-
On the road
Driving
Not exciting, scary in the wet. Steering too light at high speeds.
Performance
Not a rocket at the lights.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Abysmal, I know my local garage and AA man intimately thanks to this car.
Image
This car looked great for about one week in 1988. Now it looks very dated.
Comfort
Seats grip well.
-
Security and Service
Security
Dead lock doors. Who would nick it anyway?
Service
Dealers unfriendly and expensive. They couldn't car less about your business or your Cavalier.
