Economy
Value
Can be picked up from £200 to £1000 now days, all in all you get a lot of toys for the price you pay.
Costs
Can be a bit heavy on petrol, but depends on driving style. Insurance group 12.

On the road
Driving
Nice dirve. Fairly quite in cabin and smooth all round.
Performance
Pulls very well when pushed. Revs to 7k, pulls hard from 3k onwards. Wide ratio box gives better 0-60 times than the SRi conterpart.

Living with it
Reliability
As with most Vauxhalls, if well maintained, they will go for ever.
Image
If it's clean and in a good colour, it looks good. A few modifactions like wheels and other cosmetics can make the Cav very pleasing to the eye.
Comfort
Nice velour interioir, with lumbar support for the front seats. Space in back is a bit limited.

Security and Service
Security
Comes with alarm/immobiliser and deadlocks, but have a very weak area - door handles. I suggest you upgrade these to metal ones.
Service
Never used.
