Vauxhall Cavalier Hatchback 2.0i CDX 16V 5d (1994/M) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Lots of car and lots of toys for the money.
Costs
Fairly inexpensive to run, Insurance is quite high considering it's just a Cavalier.
-
On the road
Driving
Rolls and wallows in the corners like a boat. But, then it's not a sports car.
Performance
Quite quick (130mph) in a straight line. Doesn't like the twisty stuff.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Mine was always breaking down with no end of electrical problems.
Image
It's a Cavalier.
Comfort
Comfy seats and all the toys.
-
Security and Service
Security
Pretty good for factory stuff. Alarm, immobiliser, deadlocks.
Service
Whitmores had the car 14 days once, and didn't charge me for the courtesy car.
