Vauxhall Cavalier Hatchback 2.0i GL 5d (1989/F) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Paid £350 and got nearly 30,000 miles from it.
Costs
Bargain. Fast and reliable. Even withstood a flood or two! Cheap at twice the price.

On the road
Driving
Best car I've ever owned, but unfortunately the rustiest.
Performance
Performance is amazing, considering the size and age of the car. It'll beat a Golf GTI on the M4, anyway.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Had a problem with the airflow control box, which only cost £25 from a scrappie to replace.
Image
Not its strong point. I like 'em though.
Comfort
Always felt smooth over long and short journeys.

Security and Service
Security
Ok until some git smashed the window!
