Where else will you find a leather clad V6 auto that's as comfortable, practical and easy to drive?

V6 parts are expensive, but economy good at 30-35mpg.

    Driving

For its age, a good car. Handling is easy to fix through changing shock absorbers and springs - most are worn out now.

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

Very brisk, smooth and quiet too, even at 114k miles.

    Reliability

Let me down once (alternator failure) but kept running fine to garage.

Quite dated, but lines are clean and smooth. Interior is still good by current standards. V6 is very understated. Looks like smaller engined models.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Good driving position. Excellent seats with lumbar and height adjustment. Ride slightly choppy on poor roads.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Deadlocks and alarm as standard. DIY upgrade is easy to remove lock barrels from front doors, yet retain deadlocking.

    Service

    3 out of 5 3.0

Patchy. Some dealers are excellent, others poor. www.cavweb.co.uk has a wealth of experience and advice.
