Vauxhall Cavalier Saloon 2.0 GSi 2000 16V 4d (1992/J) Owner Review

Economy
Value
A lot of good looking car, for not a lot of kite!
Costs
Putting your foot down a lot don't come cheap. Most parts are cheap and easy to find, apart from the first branch pipe of the exhaust system.

On the road
Driving
Quiet motor to drive. Body roll when taking corners. A small price to pay for comfort and performance.
Performance
Mine is pretty much standard, apart from s/steel box and K&N air filter. Still hosses past most 16v mincers.

Living with it
Reliability
She has never let me down yet. Only needed CV gaiter and a couple of bushes on last MOT.
Image
Nice car to look at. Could do with lowering, but looks good standard. Still a Vauxhall though.
Comfort
Got electric everything and quality recaro seats. I think air-con and leather would put the icing on the cake.

Security and Service
Security
Standard Vauxhall alarm and Cat 2 immobiliser. Drivers door lock has been changed, so someone must have attempted to nick it, but I don't think they were successful as HPI is clear.
