Vauxhall Cavalier Saloon 2.0 GSi 2000 16V 4d (2001/X) Owner Review

Economy
Value
A lot of car and performance for very little money. Hunt around and you'll find an absolutey mint bargain.
Costs
If it goes wrong, be prepared to spend. Doesn't happen too often, but 80% of the jobs are pricey.

On the road
Driving
Lower it, put some bigger rims on, and you'll have one of the best driving experiences around.
Performance
Very high performance, whilst being economical. Great acceleration and never ending top speed (it seems).

Living with it
Reliability
Starts first time, every time. Look after it and it'll look after you.
Image
With modified suspension and non standard wheels, these cars will really turn heads, especially in metallic black.
Comfort
Nice driving position. The seats are made more for holding you, and not for comfort. Still comfy though. It's a performance car though. If you want comfort, get a CDX.

Security and Service
Security
Cat 1 alarm is a must, both for insurance premiums and peace of mind.
Service
I only use specialist tuners (i.e Courtenays). For cars of this breed, it is essential.
