Vauxhall Cavalier Saloon 2.0i SRi 16V Cat 4d (1994/L) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Some good examples around at fairly low prices.
Costs
Cheap for new parts as so many Cavaliers around, quite economical as well.
-
On the road
Driving
Nice and comfortable especially when motorway driving.
Performance
The Ecotec SRi is superb: you'll hit 60 in around eight seconds. That's a bit quicker than the average hot hatch as well!
-
Living with it
Reliability
Only standard problems with mine - tyres, exhaust etc.
Image
Owning a Cavalier sounds boring but once people see it, they appreciate it a lot more.
Comfort
Nice interior, quiet below 3500rpm, good to drive.
-
Security and Service
Security
Deadlocks, alarm. Had to fit my own immobiliser.
Service
Never taken it to the main dealer as prices are ridiculous.

Problems and Ownership

Other
Only ever had to change the standard bits like exhaust, tyres and brakes.
