Vauxhall Cavalier Saloon 2.0i Turbo Cat 4x4 4d (LT) (1992/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Costs
Turbo parts are expensive. Just hope the dreaded transfer box doesn't fail.
-
On the road
Driving
4x4 goes round corners like on rails. Brakes are great.
Performance
Very quick. Cosworth performance, but just looks like any other Cavalier.
-
Living with it
Reliability
New turbo, wheel bearing and lower joints. Make sure you check TX box is ok.
Image
Doesn't look anything special, which I think is fun.
Comfort
Leather heated seats.
-
Security and Service
Security
I needed Cat 1 for insurance, but comes with VX alarm/deadlocks.
Service
Do the servicing myself.
