Economy
Value
Nearly new are cars very cheap, even from franchised dealers.
Costs
Cheap to buy, insure and maintain. The only real reason for buying this car.
-
On the road
Driving
Absolutely abismal. Steering heavy and inaccurate. Crashing ride, yet masses of body roll and understeer. Awful feel to pedals. Masses of free play in gearbox. Probably the UK's worst handling car.
Performance
Slow, even for a 1 litre. 3 cylinders make it sound like a Porsche 911 though, hence the 2 and not 1 star rating.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Reasonably well built, but lots of electical problems.
Image
Fashion concious people may like it because it looks nice. Most people however know better, or buy as second car for no other reason than cost.
Comfort
Okay for passengers, pretty bad for the driver. Offset pedals and steering wheel. Steering wheel too far away. Every drive a workout.

Security and Service
Security
Doesn't seem to feature any noteworthy devices other than door locks. Lack of any kind of appeal to theives is probably the most noteworthy security device.
Service
Only goes in for routine servicing. Quite expensive.
