Economy
Value
Electric power steering - very handy, nice Blaupunkt stereo, tints, tilit/slide sunroof.
Costs
Very cheap to run, but servicing can be slightly expensive unless you do it yourself - i.e. changing plugs, oil / oil filter etc.
-
On the road
Driving
Road holding isn't too bad and takes corners well. Ride is awful on broken surface and road humps etc. Boring handling - nothing special (shame on you Lorus - you could have done better!)
Performance
More of a relaxed cruiser, but performance not bad if you drive it the right way - struggles on hills, but a fine cruiser (if a little buzzy) on the motorway or at speeds (70/75).

Living with it
Reliability
Some electrical failures - interior lighting from fascia, cig lighter not working etc.
Image
Decent looking, though common now - had styling potentials - I'm getting a set of 15" alloys and lowering it soon to improve looks and improve handling.
Comfort
Quite roomy for a small car. Wish it had adjustable steering column, though seating adjustment helps a little. Ride ok on flat roads/motorway.

Service
