Economy
Value
Great value for money!
Costs
Very efficient on fuel, although i've ended up spending £70 to get it through an MOT recently.

On the road
Driving
Easy to drive. Power steering is adequate. The accelerator is rather hard.
Performance
Feels sluggish when accelerating after a fast run, but otherwise you can't expect more from a 1.2 litre engine.

Living with it
Reliability
Has never let me down, although I drove for a month with a faulty rev-limiting solenoid. Cost £130 to repair after diagnostic.
Image
It's a Vauxhall Corsa - it's about as plain as the guy who says "did she just shake her tic-tac's at me?" the 5-door looks better than the 3 door though in my humble opinion.
Comfort
Good suspension, overall a comfortable ride!

Security and Service
Security
I'm not aware that this car even has an immobiliser!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Rev-limiter failed as mentioned before, caused drops in revs when accelerating and the electrical light to be displayed, I could have lived with it.
Other
Brakes worn, usual wear and tear, but you don't expect it to wear out a couple of months after a service by a main dealer!
Ownership

Would you buy the same model again?
No
Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
Yes
