Economy
Value
I bought mine for £850 in July 2004. I think they are good value for what you get with them which many cars in the same class don't have E.g. central locking
Costs
Haven't had anything several go wrong yet, but servicing parts as so cheap even the original Vauxhall bits! I have had a new clutch which cost only £50!

On the road
Driving
Handles well especially after adding some 14"" alloys, you don't realise it doesn't have power steering until you try to parallel park! Drives very well round town and motorway
Performance
I get around 280 miles from a tank of fuel, it goes really well around town, a bit slower when youre full up with all your mates, but come on it's only a 1.2 8v!

Living with it
Reliability
Always started first turn of the key, hasn't let me down yet in hot or cold weather
Image
Mine is burgandy, bit of a common colour in the Vauxhalls, but i think the image it gives is good, a lot better than a Nova or 106!
Comfort
The seats are comfortable, i did a 400 mile journey in mine in a day and it was fine, a lot more comfortable than some Pug 106 and Saxos i have travelled in.

Security and Service
Security
It has dead lock when locked by drivers door, when the central locking broke down it was very hard to get into! The bloke from Vauxhall even had a job! So i take it is pretty good!
Service
Excellent knowledge of all spares, usually in stock if not has them next day
