Vauxhall Corsa Hatchback 1.2i Trip 3d (1996/P) Owner Review

-
Economy
Value
I picked it up for £850, which isn't bad for a P reg.
Costs
Nothing major. Only replacing rear brake cylinders
-
On the road
Driving
Standard handling is poor, I fitted a Whiteline Anti Roll bar and now it handles like it's on rails!
Performance
44bhp, acceleration isn't too bad and a top speed of 90 mph makes it ideal for a first car
-
Living with it
Reliability
Never let me down
Image
Reasonable as standard, better once a few mods have been made.
Comfort
Comfort is great, seats mould to my body shape. And the anti-roll bar has seriously reduced body roll
-
Security and Service
Security
The previous owner had a break in attempt and failed, but all in all it isn't very difficult to break into - an alarm is desired
Service
Good.
