Value
Purchased mine nearly new in April 2000and saved £3500 on list price. The specification of the car means this is unbeatable value.
Costs
My car is serviced by a local independent garage which means the costs are at an absolute minimum. Fuel economy is excellent with an overall 43-45MPG consistently achieved.

Driving
Steering, ride and handling are below par for the class. Grip is OK on standard 165 tyres and very predictable. This is not a car that will catch you out in the wet like a Saxo VTR.
Performance
Engine is nicely loosened up at 24000miles and feels bullet proof. Revs smoothly to the 6750rpm cut-off whih gives excellent overtaking.

Living with it
Reliability
No complaints so far!
Image
In standard form the image is poor. 15 inch wheels make all the difference. However the sport derivatives will become true boyracers cars in years to come.
Comfort
Seats excellent, engines noisy and booms on motorway and ride is nobbily.

Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser, alarm, deadlocks and locking wheelnuts all standard fit.
Service
Parts service OK. Recently had the seatbelt recall where the service was poor.
