Summary
What does this car say about you?
Being a young male driver, I guess it said I was a boy racer, admittedly I was a bit racey when the roads were empty.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Family thought it was a bit of a God send, as I no longer relied on them, mates kept having a dig (some didn't even have cars, so their opinions were not exactly noted of.) But they never said no to a lift as oppose the school bus.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No I would not by the car again, although fun sometimes, in general it was frustrating.
What are you likely to buy next?
With going backwards and forwards to university every week, I would really like a 1.9tdi, what car I don't know, currently thinking of a Golf/Polo or a Fabia

£600

September 2005
Did you get a good deal and why?
Well, it was a learning curve, be more critical, and don't bring your parents.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Passed my test, wanted a car
What was the dealer like?
A bit of a con artist if you ask me

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
To drive, when everything was going well was a dream, when things didn't do what they should then it became frustrating.
What's it like to park?
Parking is easy in any car, its incompetent drivers who make things difficult for themselves, not the car, even with no power steering parking is not a problem.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Hmmm lets see: Radiator needed replacing, brakes needed replacing (4 times in 2 years), and I am not a heavy breaking person. Age started to catch up with it, sometimes the engine just did not feel like propelling the car at all.
What's most practical about your car?
It was a car, got me to where I wanted when it ran well, admittedly, it never let me down.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
It was standard, nothing really stood out.
