Summary
What does this car say about you?
Tired, old and in need of new parts.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I get laughed at a lot because of the state of the car. My family are embarrassed to be seen with me in the car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I wouldn't buy this specific car anymore as its old but I would think about buying another Corsa.
What are you likely to buy next?
I would like a bigger car, one I can get in and out of with ease. One like a Renault Kangoo or a Peugeot Tepee.

Buying experience

Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,000
When did you buy the car?
August 1996
Did you get a good deal and why?
I thought my deal at the time was good, but as the time has gone on and the more I think about it, my deal wasn't really that good. I've spent a lot of time and money on this car, way more than it's worth and I can only wish for a better car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I needed a cheap car and something smaller than I had before. My mum told me to buy it.
What was the dealer like?
They were very nice and pleasant.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's not terrible but it is hard work to drive, especially with my hands being bad, the steering can be hard sometimes as the car doesn't have power steering.
What's it like to park?
It's easy to park as the car is small.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Everything has gone wrong with my car... I lost my radio for a long time, my alternator has gone twice. The car has faded to a horrible colour and I have got rust on the side of the door.
What's most practical about your car?
The only thing that is practical about the car is the fact that it moves from my drive (when it wants to) and it gets me from A to B.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
None.
