Economy
Value
The Corsa is definitely good value for money and you can pick up a decent model for a reasonable price.
Costs
Parts and labour from Vauxhall is averagely priced, but most things are inexpensive to replace/repair.

On the road
Driving
The Corsa's handling is poor in comparison to it's rivals, i.e. Saxo VTR/VTS Peugeot 106 GTi, etc. as you don't get much feedback from the road, but I find that it is fun to drive.
Performance
The performance is to a good standard and the 1.6i 16v Sport had high tuning potential and the engine can be tuned up to 200bhp.

Living with it
Reliability
Starts first time hot or cold, rain or shine… or even snow! Never let me down since I've had it, but look out for heavy front tyre wear.
Image
Even though the Corsa is slightly dated now, it still looks stylish and there's plenty of after-market extras for the 'car-enthusiasts'.
Comfort
Extremely comfortable seats in the front and rear, spacious room inside and the boot is a reasonable size too. Few little extras on the Sport a/c, e/w, pas, cd player, alarm/immobiliser, alloy wheels, etc. Also has adjustable height on the drivers seat.

Security and Service
Security
Although the Sport attracts theives, as it's a 'hot hatch' they come with factory fitted alarm & immobiliser for peace of mind.
Service
Vauxhall service is normally good but sometimes can take ages for them to figure out whats wrong with your car, but generally they're second-to-none.
