Summary
What does this car say about you?
Young lad I suppose, but hopefully not boy racer since it's standard apart from a K&N induction kit (sounds great with that, people have commented!).
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They seem to like it, never gets negative comments anyway.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably not, one Corsa is enough. I might be tempted by the 1.8 SRi new shape, but I'd probably get something better.
What are you likely to buy next?
Hopefully a Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes it was pretty good, p/x'ed my T reg Escort Finesse that had 70,000 miles for the Corsa. It was the Escort + £400.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Low mileage, faster than previous car, slightly better image. Also nice colour.
What was the dealer like?
Friendly enough guy, but it was a farm(!).

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good. Not amazing, but it has plenty of power. Good in towns and on the motorway. Keeps up with bigger cars on the motorway no problem, people seem surprised to see a little Corsa in the fast lane uphill! Handling lets it down a little, you never feel truly connected to the road. Fun enough though. Good off the lights!
What's it like to park?
Very easy. Visibility is good. That's why they use these as driving school cars.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing too major, only the clutch cable snapping and the exhaust has needed repairs a couple of times. It also uses quite a lot of oil.
What's most practical about your car?
I don't need too much practicality being a single male, but its boot is big enough for my needs.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Electric-heated wing mirrors! I don't know anyone else who has these, my friends are jealous. Strange that it has them and no abs, air con or (standard) cd player though.
