Vauxhall Corsa Hatchback 1.7 D GLS 3d (2000/W) Owner Review

-
Economy
Value
Always buying parts, clutch, radiator etc etc.
Costs
I owned it for 10months and I must of spent a easy £800 with parts and labour.
-
On the road
Driving
I have never driven it with the standard wheels but with simple cheap alloys you cant get a worse drive, the steering also very stiff.
Performance
Top speed bout 90 and that's killing the engine, I went from a 1.5td and I wish I had it back.

Living with it
Reliability
Always made me late for work, the electrics packed up and when the key was turned nothing would happen, also very bad in the cold.
Image
Looks okay with the colour coded bumpers and standard tinted glass.
Comfort
Gls seats are nice feel a bit sporty and the ability to raise the seats is good for someone short.
-
Security and Service
Security
It's rural Cornwall; you don't need security. Never really tried but as the central locking packs up in the boots that's one less way someone can get it.
