Airbags are not standard except on GLS models, although CDX also has a passenger airbag. ABS brakes are optional on most models and in the Euro NCAP tests it scored a two stars out of a possible four, which is now poor for this class of vehicle.

Storing the weekly shopping isn’t as easy as you’d expect: the boot could be bigger and easier to access. There is a small glovebox to keep valuables hidden from prying eyes and a few door bins for storage throughout. Corsa is neat and tidy around town and better suited to urban living than regular epic motorway ventures, though it does behave competently on A-roads when asked to do so.
