Summary
What does this car say about you?
Sleak, nippy, dark, mysterious and curves in all the right places. You know how people say dogs look like their owners, given that I can't afford an Aston Martin DB7, the Corsa managed to replicate the sexiness. The car said I was prepared to kick arse if needed and provide elegant comfort for nights overlooking the beach whilst playing tiddlywinks.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My loved ones miss Black Betty - but the big oak tree was too much for her little body.
Would you buy this car again and why?
This car essentially saved my life, Black Betty (RIP) swerved to avoid a Pug which had spun and landed on its roof, Betty managed to swerve to avoid a group of people rubbernecking the afore mentioned Pug and skidded into a ditch on the passenger side and hit a tree at 50mph and the tree also landed on the roof. Had Betty not been a tough old bird, my days of tiddlywinks playing would have been over.
What are you likely to buy next?
I can't buy another black Corsa because I will always compare it to Betty. I will be looking to buy a tank or maybe another Corsa because they are the safest small car on the road.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It was a nippy little thing and regularly managed to overtake tractors without getting caught out with oncoming traffic, managed to keep up with my speedier friends on motorways with no problem at all. Really comfy drive and easy, great car for newbies or lazy drivers or style conscious chicks like myself. Just remember beautiful things come in small packages.
What's it like to park?
As a female this question would normally be quite difficult to answer, however as an experienced parker, it was simple to park as it's little, but my its like the tardis on the inside. I managed to get a double mattress, chest of drawers, dismantled wardrobe and 2 suitcases in the car all at the same time! This was for moving purposes not as a standard fit in the car...although it may have worked quite nicely.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes it died in a serious accident in Peterborough. She did however save my life, prior to her life support being switched off she gave me no trouble whatsoever.
What's most practical about your car?
The back seats folded down flat leaving a massive space in the back for 2 people to play tiddlywinks on holidays in secluded areas. Cracking views with the boot open which provided a handy canopy when it rained.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I loved all the space in the car. Oh and the electric side mirrors were great fun to play with whilst waiting at red lights. Excellent A/C always loved having fun in summer with windows up watching people melt...My dog also loved the car front or back or boot...he has been pining for her too since she died.
