Summary
What does this car say about you?
Typical young driver with his first car I think ?
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends weren't sure at first, but eventually liked it as its still as clean as it was when it left the factory ! My mum and dad love the car they always want to drive it ! Neighbours just think I clean it to much haha.
Would you buy this car again and why?
110% yes. I only wanted to keep it a year at first but I love this car so much fun ! ive had it 2 years and im keeping it for another year ! If I was to buy again id like the 1.7cdti sri though, but I would happily settle for the 1.2 !
What are you likely to buy next?

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,195
When did you buy the car?
December 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes I believe so was way below average mileage, great condition, had new brakes all round and it came with 12 months mot which is what I wanted aswell.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Young driver buying his first car. wanted something reliable and easy to fix that isn't bad looking.
What was the dealer like?
Great. He didn't pester us for about 20 minutes and let us look around the car as long as we wanted, test drive was no trouble. Only thing when picking it up he could of cleaned it (their was a car wash on his grounds which he owned) he had lost the aerial and their was no fuel in the tank (his garage was on a petrol forecourt which he also owned could of stuck £5 in atleast).

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Tip top. Theirs plenty of power from the 1.2 16v to cope around town and on motorways (its a much better engine than the 1.0 which I felt was dangerous on test drives) If fully laden it does start to struggle up steep hills were you do have to change down, but its a 1.2 its normal ! it will sit at 70mph happily ( i done a 700 mile round trip 560 miles of that where motorways) and was spot on, anything more it does start to feel like its struggling.
What's it like to park?
Very easy the almost flat boot lid and bumper makes reverse parking a doddle. Living in a street with bad parking its great to squeeze into spaces with good visibility all round.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
First year of owning it was spot on hadn't spent a penny fixing it and flew though its mot. This year a few sensors and its needed new drop links and starter motor (just the age of the car I guess) The only major issue was the oil pressure switch failed while on holiday in devon the oil warning light came on and got towed where it was fixed in 5 minutes (a £3 sensor) cars been great though cant fault it ! its on 85000 miles now and it feel it has much more to give ! if looked after they can last 130000+ miles.
What's most practical about your car?
For a small car im very impressed, theirs space for 3 adults in the back and the boot is a great size.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Its got the summer pack on it so its got the air con and sunroof. also the steering wheel controls for the stereo are really handy, alloy wheels and side skirts set it off nicely.
