Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not much. Corsa's are quite common on the roads today so the only one's that really stand out are the ones that have 500 inch alloys... A good car to blend in with, especially with younger drivers.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Family like it because its a nice cheap alternative when they want to drive to the supermarket to get some milk... rather then hurl an Audi RS4 around for a 10 minute drive.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, it's too small for me now. I found it good to use because the fuel/tax/insurance bills were so cheap, but now that I can afford to spend a little more, id rather get something bigger.
What are you likely to buy next?
Already bought it. 2003 Golf GTTDi.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£6,000
When did you buy the car?
December 2004
Did you get a good deal and why?
Paid £6000 for a year old car with 30,000 miles on the clock. Wasn't really bothered when I bought it (I had just turned 18 and passed a week before) so I just paid the asking price to buy it. A few months down the line, I realised I should of haggled and got the price down a bit more, but you live and learn.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
My first car, and I had quite alot of money in the bank at the time. Found I liked the driving position of the Corsa since I passed my test in one.
What was the dealer like?
Bought it from a friend of a friend.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Quick and nimble in town and suprisingly nippy up to 50mph. Anything after that though, you remember there's only a 1.2 under the bonnet. Take's corners well enough, but I feel that's down to the tires rather then the car.
What's it like to park?
Very easy, could do it with one hand!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Quite alot considering I've owned it since 2004. Heater resistor went twice, key snapped in the barrel, passenger window doesn't close properly and automatically re-opens when trying to close it, weird tapping noise from the engine at random times - no fault found either.
What's most practical about your car?
The fact that I'm now a 22 year old student, and it still gets me from A-B without me feeling the need to race it or invest in a bodykit. Works fine as it is.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Aircon. Couldn't live without it.
