Summary
What does this car say about you?
I'm a chav (which I'm not).
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
That's a bit of a chav car for her.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, I've had my fair share of Corsas.
What are you likely to buy next?
Just got a For KA.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,400
When did you buy the car?
December 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Not really endless problems from the start. It was a rushed purchase as I needed a car quickly.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
My previous Corsa broke. It was a 2001/X blue comfort, for which I paid £2500 for in 2006.
What was the dealer like?
Pushy, unwilling to move on the price, and didn't come across as genuine.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It veers to the left and creaks. Goes fast eaily though. Don't try to accelerate in 4th gear.
What's it like to park?
The power steering makes it easy but the car feels quite big when parking.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Exhaust, endless coil springs, heater, constantly veers to the left despite being looked at by a garage TWICE, faulty electric window on driver side (which I have discovered is a known fault). The weirdest part is when it has broke down twice and the AA man got it going again by turning the ignition and pressing on the dials. Apparantley - another known fault. This fault starts with the dials failing (so it says you're goin 0mph when really you're going 70mph - scary!).
What's most practical about your car?
The power steering makes it really easy to handle.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Remote central locking is a God send. Just bought a Ford KA which doesn't have it :-(
