Summary
What does this car say about you?
Wants a cheap reliable car that looks good, as this was the Sxi model in black.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Sporty. A nice change from the boring practical car I had before.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Not this model. Although some modifications were a step up from older models, the car didnt feel as hardy. Had this written off, and cant say I was sad to see it go.
What are you likely to buy next?
After much searching I have decided on a Focus.

Bought private, knocked the guy down from his asking price and got a full MOT.

Looking to upgrade an older model.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Drives well around town and on motorways. Very noisy with winds and at speed. Easy to do high speeds without noticing. Bad points it didnt handle in the snow as well as previous models.
What's it like to park?
Brilliant. I dont have off road parking and have managed to get it into some tights gaps.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only normal stuff, front drop links, few blown bulbs, had rear brake discs replaced and handbrake cable. Other problem is it drinks oil! Previous cars I have had an oil change every 12 months and never topped up, this one had an oil change and then run dry within 6 months.
What's most practical about your car?
Split rear seats have been brilliant when purchasing large items as I have not had to remove my daughters car seat.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Child locks on rear doors, steering wheel radio controls (althought the newer model design is better).
