Economy
Value
Saw loads of 1.2s with a better bodykit. Standard rear clusters as opposed to the tinted one. I should have waited a bit longer.
Costs
Drinks a bit when driven hard. Service cost is a joke; £130 for 1st service and £100+ for brake pads. Can't wait for warranty to run out and I'll use an independent mechanic.

On the road
Driving
Sticks to the road like glue, and goes into any corner you chuck it in with no questions asked. Jerky from 1st / 2nd gearchange when not revved hard.
Performance
Would handle much better if lowered 35mm with better springs and matching shocks. Gets to 120mph no problem.

Living with it
Reliability
Very reliable, but I hate the electric power steering. The motor heats up too quickly, especially when maneuvering slowly, e.g. trying to fit into a tight space. I prefer the old school PAS on my Cavalier.
Image
Can't complain. Up to date, but could be improved with a meaner bodykit.
Comfort
Front seats took a little getting used to, but I love it now. Very supportive.

Security and Service
Security
CAT 1 as standard. Deadlocks. Can't ask for more.
Service
They are OK. Vauxhall know how to make sporty cars, but Cust SVC needs improvement.
