Summary
What does this car say about you?
Old, slightly boring, but sensible.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My wife loves it, but it draws very few comments from other people, which isn't a bad thing, an uninteresting car means it's less likely to be stolen.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would recommend this car to anyone who wants a cheap to run, sensible hatchback.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another Corsa.

£2,600

October 2009

Reasonable trade in and lengthy warranty.

Economy, low mileage for year.
What was the dealer like?
Faultless local dealer.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Keeps up with town and motorway traffic. It's got quite a big engine for a small car and always feels under stressed, the MPG figures of a regular 60+ confirm this.
What's it like to park?
An absolute doddle, even easier than my previous car, a Smart ForTwo.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Gear change linkage failed in first 3 days. Fixed in less than half a day by dealer with a courtesy car provided.
What's most practical about your car?
For a small car it has a good boot space and even more with the seats down.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
It's a very basic car, but I like that, so much less to go wrong.
