Summary
What does this car say about you?
I'd like to think it says I'm concerned about the environment, but I guess most people would think I was a tight wad that won't shell out on a more expensive car. The truth is I'm very happy with this one.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all like it, even the colour is out of the norm (pomegranate red) which is quite a nice colour, unlike the many loud or garish colours that are available.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No.. The one I have is at the end of the models manufacturing cycle so they don't make them any more, but would I advise anyone to buy one, yes all day long.
What are you likely to buy next?
Ask me in 4 years...

Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£4,995
When did you buy the car?
October 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes.. Traded in my old (X) Skoda Fabia (great car btw). The garage didn't check it over (save for a glance) so missed the faulty Power Steering and Worn Bushes.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Condition, Milage, Running Costs
What was the dealer like?
A little pushy (aren't they all). Pleasant enough and patient.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Surprisingly good... The tiny engine goes like a train, providing your prepared to drive it. It almost never feels strained or breathless. Excellent little unit, oah' and doesn't appear to use oil either... Road holding is good enough, ride comfort is excellent and cabin noise is fine enough too.
What's it like to park?
Excellent. However there are large blind spots to the rear, but it's easily overcome with the wing mirrors. Steering is light and precise and the clutch is light and full of feedback.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The Rubber pad on the clutch peddle dislodged itself, simply refitting was needed. So in reality, no nothing has gone wrong it seems pretty bulletproof.
What's most practical about your car?
Were a small family and it fits us perfectly.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
It's pretty basic, but I suppose the standard ABS is nice to have, not that I've had cause to call upon it very often, but I can testify that it works well enough.
