Summary
What does this car say about you?
Hmmm it looks a bit sporty with the alloys and black metallic paintwork so I tend to get people thinking I'm a boy racer and trying to race me.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it's ok, but nothing amazingly special as there are so many Corsas on the road.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes I would buy another Corsa because this one's been reliable and relatively cheap to run.
What are you likely to buy next?
I want a Mini Cooper S next but don't think I'll be able to afford one for a good few years, I'm sure the Corsa will serve me well till then!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£8,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2005
Did you get a good deal and why?
I got a brilliant deal because it was the last one of this particular model left in the showroom, it's not actually a 54 reg it's an 05 because it wasn't registered till after the changeover. Price was supposed to be just under £10,000 but I got it for £8,000!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Special edition model, alloys, air con, blue seats and a bargain price!
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly and not too pushy, other Vauxhall dealers are not so nice though!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
In town it's pretty nippy, electric power steering makes it really easy to drive, and I do a lot of city centre driving! Not amazing on the motorway but it doesn't feel like the doors are going to fall off when you drive above 70 (not that I ever would officer!). When cruising you still have some acceleration to overtake other cars.
What's it like to park?
Well it's only small so parking's usually pretty easy, I've managed to parallel park it into some very small spaces in the past without losing a bumper!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A few electrical niggles, CD player had to be replaced after 6 months as it kept switching itself on in the middle of the night and draining the battery, also hazard warning unit had to be replaced as it was misbehaving!
What's most practical about your car?
It's just generally easy to drive and park, and not too loud and shaky on motorways compared to other small cars I've had. Also more spacious inside than you'd think!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air conditioning!
