Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not much.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it has to go into the garage a lot for such a new car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely not. Have had lots of niggly problems and issues which the dealer has been unable to fix. If you want good quality service then go elsewhere.
What are you likely to buy next?
Definately not another Vauxhall. Probably VW or Skoda.

Price was consistent with other dealers and car supermarkets at the time.

Wife's choice

Helpful when doing the deal, useless thereafter.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Slow. Performance from 1.2 engine is unacceptable by today's standards. Fuel economy is poor because you have to work it so hard. Ride is quite good for a small car, steering is nice and light.
What's it like to park?
Fine.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes lots. Wiper judder, took dealer 3 attempts to fix. Handbrake keeps sticking on, still not sorted after 5 dealer visits. Numerous recalls for safety issues. Various other issues and 'known' faults. Brakes are noisy, apparently a common problem but Vauxhall have no cure for it.
What's most practical about your car?
Lots of room for a small car
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Multi-function steering wheel is useful.
