Summary
What does this car say about you?
New Corsas are usually driven by people who aren't interested in cars. Old ones are driven by boy racers and chavs, but they usually have blacked-out windows and silly pram wheels.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Not much.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No - the Ford Fiesta, despite its hideous dashboard, is much better.
What are you likely to buy next?
I don't think you can improve on a Mk1 Mazda MX-5!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It is quiet even at motorway speeds but it is, without a doubt, the slowest car I have ever driven (and I'm no boy racer). Pulling out of the middle lane of the motorway and accelerating from 60-70 takes so long that it's positively dangerous. It also struggles on motorway inclines. The car is better around town. Fuel economy averaged almost 48mpg on a gently-driven trip of over 400 miles. This is quite respectable but for something so slow I'd hoped for a bit better.
What's it like to park?
Easy enough. The back is very flat.
