Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Purchased almost 10 years ago for £9,900 at 14 months old with 7k on the clock, the price new was £15,800 - I guess the original owner took a hefty hit on depreciation. Now on 136k. Fuel economy 40-44mpg is pretty average and definitely no worse than the usual 1.2 combined with the improved performance it really isn't a bad engine at all. Runs smoothly and quietly. Still on original clutch, turbo, timing chain, exhaust, gasket (heard a few horror stories on these) drives like a dream when the engine is warmed up. No rust and looks mint when polished up :)

How reliable do you find the car?

Few usual problems over it's life, track rod x 1, wheel bearings x 2, replaced both front suspension coils (only 1 had failed) also gearbox started rattling slightly at 113k although had not failed. Changed anyway for a refurbed unit. Also, the thermostat housing has failed 3 times (if the emissions light comes on and the engine does not get fully up to temperature this should be the first thing to be replaced, a relatively cheap fix)
